The ORIONMETER ORN-MOD-LW868 radio modem is a built-in version of the LA-IP radio modem and a LoRaWAN class C device. The radio modem is designed to interrogate the status of telematic devices via the UART interface and transmit the received data of current values via radio communication to the LoRaWAN network.
The radio modem supports connection of a wide range of devices capable of transmitting data via the UART interface and providing the radio modem with power.
The ORIONMETER ORN-MOD-LW868 radio modem can be used as a built-in device for remote data collection from various utility metering devices, such as water, gas, heat, and electricity meters in automated control systems.
